Since the peace process has not been able to change facts on the ground, the fact of the matter is that things have deteriorated increasingly. This has brought nothing but disappointment among Palestinians.
     In light of the above, the center has adopted many actions based on nonviolence to confront inhumane Israeli practices. The latter include: depriving Palestinians of the holy sites for worship, restricting their movements, the closure of Jerusalem and other areas, land confiscation, house demolitions, and numerous other actions. The center tries to conduct peaceful protest marches, planting trees in lands to be confiscated and visiting areas of conflicts. It also aims at developing freedom of thought and a necessary sense of belonging, as well as the effective participation to build a democratic civic society.
